Founded in 1996 by a group of development professionals with considerable experience of working in community-led natural resources development with the tribal community of central India, Action for Social Advancement (ASA) has emerged as a prime field implementing organization for the promotion of farm-based livelihoods of small and marginal farmers. We are registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and the Bombay Public Trust Act. 1950.
Over the years, ASA has worked relentlessly towards improving the promotion of farm-based livelihoods of small and marginal farmers for land and water resources development, promotion of sustainable agriculture, and creation of market access for the farmers for produce, inputs and services.
