The Ballestra Group is the world leader in developing, engineering and supplying technologies, processing plants and proprietary equipment for the business areas: Detergents, Surfactants & Soap and Chemical and Fertilizers. - Ballestra, the world leader in process plants for detergents and surfactants since its establishment in 1960. Driven by continuous innovation, today Ballestra offers state-of-the-art solutions for anionic surfactants production, thanks to the patented SULPHONEXT Falling Film Sulphonation, and the Enhanced Loop Reactor for Alkoxylation. Ballestra is also a world leader in sulphuric acid, ad phosphoric acid, and all fertilizers downstream phosphoric acid, sulphuric acid, potassium, nitric acid, ammonia and urea.
- Mazzoni, the world leader in soap & glycerin processing plants and soap finishing lines, with more than 2.500 units installed all over the world. Mazzoni was founded in 1947 and merged into Ballestra in 2017.
- Buss ChemTech, a world leader in technologies and process plants for gas-liquid reactions using the patented BUSS LOOP® reactor Buss is a reputable supplier of technologies and plants for hydrogen fluoride and derivatives. Buss ChemTech AG joined the Ballestra group in 2021
