About Primebook India

Founded by two IIT Delhi alumni with a mission to bridge the digital divide in the education system by delivering the right form of technology to students of India and beyond. Established in 2018 and headquartered in Delhi, Floydwiz Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is dedicated to delivering innovative and high-performing Android-based laptops called Primebook tailored to serve the modern student's day-to-day learning and computing needs.
At the heart of the Primebook laptop lies PrimeOS, the First-ever Made-in-India Android-based operating system. PrimeOS provides users with seamless access to 50,000+ educational, productive, and entertainment Android apps on a multiwindow multitasking interface.
With the octa-core MediaTek processor, 4GB RAM, 64/128 GB storage (expandable up to 512 GB), 6-hour battery life, 2MP webcam, dual microphone, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G SIM connectivity, and all requisite I/O ports, from micro HDMI and Type C/ DC ports to USB 2.0, the lightweight Primebook laptop boasts as an ideal study and work companion in this digital era.

- Primebook, an Android-based learning ecosystem, co-founded in 2018, is bridging India’s digital divide with affordable laptops for students. It offers the Primebook Wi-Fi and Primebook 4G models at Rs 12,990 and Rs 14,990 respectively.
- Bindu Vinodhan discovered a dormant weaving tradition among the women of Chuliaposhi village in northern Odisha and revitalised this craft, empowering marginalised women. - Quicklend has launched its Loan Against Mutual Funds product in collaboration with Bajaj and consortium of prominent NBFCs and disclosed securing Rs 6.75 crore in a pre-seed funding round from Inuka Capital, Eximius Ventures, Upsparks Capital, and a group of strategic angel investors. - Delhi-based affordable laptop maker, Primebook, has created laptops tailored to the unique requirements of students in India to help bridge the ongoing digital divide in the country.
- According to the Union Education Ministry's Unified District Information System for Education (UDISE) 2023-24 report, only 57% of schools in India have functional computers, and 53% have internet access.
- Primebook’s flagship laptop runs on PrimeOS, an Android-based operating system optimised for multitasking and compatible with over 200,000 educational apps.
