Hello everyone,

I recently submitted my resume for an Inside Sales Specialist position at Accenture and have successfully cleared the first HR round. The HR representative mentioned that there will be additional rounds, but I’m not entirely sure what to expect for the second and third stages.

||If anyone has insights on Accenture’s hiring process—specifically what the next rounds involve and how best to prepare—I’d really appreciate your advice.||

I bring about 1.6 years of experience in the sales process within an IT company, and I’m now looking to prepare effectively for the upcoming rounds.

What topics should I study? Are there any key areas or skills that tend to be tested?

I recently heard about a candidate who asked for a “Rain Allowance” during an interview, and at first, I laughed. But now I think he might actually be onto something.

During monsoon, his Ola/Uber fares shoot up because of rain and waterlogging. So he suggested

Pay extra during rainy months

Let him WFH on rainy days 

Or allow him to come late if it’s pouring 

He explained that in July, his travel cost literally doubled. He even asked the interviewer if they used Ola/Uber and told them to compare this month’s expenses with a normal month.

And guess what? When they actually checked… he was right. The whole month’s usual fare had been spent in just 15 days. Even on a regular rainy morning, prices were more than 2x.

Now I’m thinking… maybe “Rain Allowance” isn’t such a wild idea after all. In fact, I might just need it myself 😅 What do u guys think?

So, we’re a small startup and some people here are just… annoying. Recently, I had my first ever office disagreement with a colleague. She started talking crap, and I gave it right back.

Now I’m wondering – should I tell my boss about it? (FYI, my boss is literally the CEO 😅) This isn’t a one-time thing either… it’s kind of a pattern with her.

I’ve never been in an office fight before... I’m usually the friendly, get along with everyone guy. What’s the best way to handle situations like this?

I received this email from HR this morning...the wording is a bit vague, and no one has directly addressed it yet. We’re working from home, and I’m continuing with my daily tasks, but this has definitely raised some concerns.

Do HRs ever post about employees who invest years hoping for promotions and better pay, only to get fired one morning with a month's severance? 

Employees owe companies nothing. If employees risk joining, knowing they can be fired anytime in the first six months, companies should take the same risk.

I always thought Bengaluru was a city of educated, progressive people. Today, that image shattered completely.

It started in the morning at work. A male colleague looked me up and down and said, “What are you even wearing? If you want to pull guys, do it somewhere else, not in corporate.” I was wearing a strappy top with high-waist jeans. I just stared at him for a second, kept my face blank, and got back to work but his words kept running in my head all day.

Later, in the office parking lot, the security guard kept staring at my outfit and, to my shock, seemed to be trying to take photos of me. By the time I realised, he quickly turned away, pretending nothing happened. Then, while parking my car at home, a Zomato delivery guy gave me a look so filthy I can’t even describe it.

Three different men, three different settings, all in one day. If this is the reality of Bengaluru, I don’t know how much longer I can live in this toxic environment.

I used to believe Bengaluru was different. Today proved me wrong in three ugly moments.
