I come from a small tier-3 town. My dad has struggled with mental health and couldn’t hold a stable job. Our family survived on ₹5,000/month, thanks to my uncle who gave him some work at his shop. That was all we had.

I once got into a better college, but fees were out of reach. Even taking a loan wasn’t an option. So I chose DU for B.Com and started working early, landed my first internship in Class 12 at a Mumbai based marketing firm for ₹6,000/month.

Since then, I’ve been learning, working, and slowly building my way up.

Now at 21, in my final year, I’m earning ₹50,500/month through an internship that might turn into a PPO.

Also, I have an incredible girlfriend, supportive, kind, and someone I can share real moments with. We even go on monthly trips now something I couldn’t even dream of earlier.

Might not be the flashiest story here, but for me, this is everything. 🙏

Never thought I’d say this out loud, but I’m done. Bengaluru is draining me.

Commute sucks. Traffic is a joke. Roads are nightmares.
And now the bike ban?  Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse…

Every day feels like I’m spending 3 hours of my life doing nothing but sitting in traffic and aging. Weather is great yes but what’s the point if I’m just stuck in the perimeter of my building? 

If I ever build a startup, Bengaluru won’t even be on the list.
In fact, I’d rather chill in Mumbai in my ac and have peace of mind. At least there’s a local train.

At this point, I’m even okay with taking a 50% paycut, if it means I get to leave this madness and work from a saner city.

I paused.

They accepted.
No questions. No haggling.
