Hcl Tech EPB ( engagement or employee performance bonus) deduction issue.
Hi friends, I am sharing an important information with you. I have recently joined HCL tech. Last December, 2024 my first quarterly appraisal was done. I got near about 7+ out of 10. As of now everything was okay. But this month i.e March,2025 I got only 30% of my EPB component. I then connected with my HR and Manager and RM also but no response. Everyone said, I will check it etc etc....then I talked to one of my colleagues and got to know that if the rating is below 8.5 then 20 to 30% of the EPB component will be credited. Wow 😂...really shocked. Every one in HCL has this issue or concern. So guys if you are a new joiner, be cautious about your quarter or annual rating. Do not accept less than 8.5 or else it will be hugely impacted to your salary slip.
Also 7.15 out of 10 is around 70%+...but how they were calculated 30%.. don't know...really bad policy implementation...I am now deciding to leave it now...

Even with evidence, you might not get the full bonus you expected .The purpose is to hold them accountable and prevent this from happening to others
