A relieving letter is usually just a formality but for one ex-Wipro employee, it became a serious blow to his reputation.

The Delhi High Court has ordered Wipro to pay 2 lakh to a former Principal Consultant for making defamatory remarks in his relieving letter.

Wipro called the employee’s conduct “malicious” and blamed him for an “irreparable breakdown” harsh words the court said could damage his career and reputation.

The employee challenged these remarks in court, saying they damaged his character and credibility. The court agreed, calling the statements unjustified and harmful, especially when they can affect future job opportunities.

The court’s order was
Wipro must pay 2 lakh as compensation for the emotional and professional damage
A fresh termination letter must be issued without any defamatory content
The original letter’s hurtful statements are to be considered null and void

A middle manager in India allegedly stopped an employee from taking his lunch break. The reason? “Work first, food later.”

This news is  going viral cz this isn't just about food. It’s about dignity. About basic respect. About how hunger is still being overruled by hierarchy in some workplaces.

Yes, many managers today are kind and understanding but stories like this show that toxic thinking still exists in some corners of the workplace, where skipping lunch is weirdly seen as a sign of dedication

Had a long interview yesterday (10 AM-5:30 PM) for an Operations profile. It had three rounds, but the "technical round" was all puzzles—not explained well or relevant. 

Wasn’t told about this round beforehand. Got rejected for not being “sensible enough” based on the puzzle round. Doesn't reflect my 3+ years in business operations & support.

Everyone’s time is valuable. 7.5 hours with no clear alignment or time management is disappointing. Candidates prepare and stay focused; the process should show the same respect.

Not blaming, just highlighting the need for clarity, communication, structure, and mutual respect in hiring. Taking it as a learning experience. 🙌

Real poverty is much much higher in USA than data suggests. Poverty in my view is how much you can afford, healthcare costs vs incomes, house cost vs income, wealth inequalities etc. 

Profits over people. 

It's sad that BJP Congress both are pursuing American model in everything. From a cars focused society to skyscrapers to metros to crony capitalism, we are absorbing all the bad things from USA but ignoring the great things in Europe or USA for eg.

Shocking to see widespread poverty in the richest country of the world USA. Is this the model govt wants to push down our throats??
