Overall boeing was very good organization a nice Work life balance and salary

Boeing is very good company but Managers are ruining it like hell . Most of the managers are not fit to manage people they are fit to do dirty politics and discrimination with people.Even in layoff they removed people who were very good and they were talkative with manager and never said yes blindly to them . Few years ago boeing was dream company but now I'm feeling like my a ugly dream came true<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. Upper level management must identify and evaluate lower level management because they hide many unskilled and low performance and showcase good performing employees in any bad situation to make best performing employees to get affected</mark>. Company has a great leagacy but new leaders and managers are ruining it. Managers are treated like god here.

Dislikes

Managers are enjoying delegating all their jobs to down stream. Many have no technical skills. Present someone else created ppt. Can't even wright manager performance review without using chat gpt(even I was shocked to see). Who owns the companies vision? Who takes ownership? Digital Thread, Digital Transformation, 2.0 etc who was held accountable for not accomplish it? Company bleeding cash and gaining on quality issues why? Individual growth plan not defined. Boeing was a good company with a good culture. They were recognizing individual achievements and appreciating people for their work. The one thing is that they encourage people to participate in organizational events and give Pride points/dollars for their achievements and participation. The senior managers now are very lethargic as they are now leaving everything on their managers whether they are right or wrong. They were speaking with the employees before either in team meetings or in one-on-one. But are now not willing to as they believe it is waste of time no matter what you achieve or what you need from them.The managers are also not very keen on fostering and facilitating teams as per their needs for work but are only concerned about the results. They have favoritism and favors whom they like regardless of work achievements and credibility<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. They are not focused on the individual performance and achievements but what gives the managers a good impression with their managers</mark>. Nothing now is as it was in 2019, 2020, 2021! Everything has changed but the change is disastrous! The saying is true that your company will recognize you and pay for you but you will leave because of the manager and not because of the company! There is no properly defined path for career advancement. No promotion even after 4 years of service. There is no clear definition of responsibilities for seniors / juniors (different level of employees -L1, L2, L3, L4). Any task can be assigned to anyone.

Good Work-life balance. Good Salary Benifits like gym and others are good Global exposure For official work people are allowed to stay in five star hotels. You will get I phones and sim card Huge benefit at the time of joining like stay in five star hotel, and other monitory benifits.

Dislikes

Don't expect promotion here as it's very difficult to get. I have seen people working from 12-15 years at same position. Very difficult to become a manager here. This is the only drawback I think this company has rest of things are good.
