In GAOtek THERE have so many learning things. I actually working here as an HR intern. The leadership skill, presentation, team collaboration actually makes me positive feeling about that.

Dislikes

Not so much things. Every organisation have positive and negative things. Like other GAOtek one of them. So negativity we can made it positive bu our hard work.

It gave me the opportunity to take ownership of real HR responsabilities from the begginig. I had the chance to coordinate a team, manage recruitment processes, and contribuite to onboarding workflows. Being part of an international and fullly remote enviroment helped me to improve my communication skills and learn how to organize tasks across time zones and cultures. I also receivved a regular feedback from my managers, wich helped me to keep growing....Read More

Dislikes

Sometimes the processes weren´t clearly defined in some areas. Because it´s large, global and mostly volunteer-based organization communication could be inconsistent across teams. That said, it taught me to be resourceful, proactive, and to find solutions indepently - skills I found valuable in a work place.

My internship at GAO TEK was a good learning experience. I worked on real tasks, improved my skills and learned how to with a global team. The supervisors were helpful and encouraged us to do best. Even though it was remote, the work was well organized and flexible. I am thankful for the oppourtunity and would recommend it to others

The HR internship at GAOTek gave me a practical and real l life experience in screening resume, recruitment, onboarding, and my communication skills have improved to quite an extent. I learned how to take interviews, screen resumes and continuous communication with candidates and my higher ups have given me a new set of confidence. Likes

Working remotely gave me the flexibility to manage my effectively. I also acquired a wealth of experience in HR, particularly in recruitment and talent acquisition, which was a new field for me. Moreover, i saw a substancial in my English skills, thanks to supportive environment that encourage me to learn and grow, despite not being a native speaker

Dislikes

Because this is unpaid internship, sometimes i feel less motivation to work. I have bunch of work, but the only benefits is certificate. So, i hope later company will open internship with some benefits in financial perspective

The motivation to be able to complete all the work assigned on time was thrilling. As this was my 1st internship, I have to say that there was so much to look forward to. I had the opportunity to improve my communication skills, realised the value of time management and most importantly how to deal with situations that demand instant response from our end, and how to deal with pressure effectively and be calm. I was able to reach out to the management regarding any issues I faced and they were supportive of that, and this did not allow me to compromise with my values and mental health in any way. What I dislike about working here is that the organization expects us to provide for them at such a short notice, which is not possible. If you expect it, you are reducing the productivity of the interns and everyone else involved. Any update, any new task and there must be adequate time provided so as to ensure implementation of the update. The "ASAP" is being misunderstood. I expect that in order to ensure full productivity, the management must provide some time before asking the SL or the interns that they will be assumed as INACTIVE. Apart from that, I think the organization would attract much more candidates if they could provide a small amount as a stipend. But overall, it was an enriching journey as I witnessed my personal growth from someone who barely knew anything to knowing something now. Thank you....Read More

There was a significant gap between interns and full-time staff, which made it hard to build connections or see a clear path toward becoming a permanent employee. One of the benefits initially promised was training from professionals, but in reality, I was trained by fellow interns. Additionally, the workload was quite heavy, especially given the constant "always hiring" approach, yet there were no tangible benefits or compensation offered.
