Good work enviroment and culture. Teammeates are supportive and the management is transparent there is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary as per experienced & bonus every year..

Coming to teammates, they are very good people to help to in tough times,especially the senior engineers. About training,they give more importance to training sessions, which helps you to become a champion in technical and managerial domains. Job security is good up to some extent. I can not talk more about career growth, as i had worked there for only 2.5 years. Appraisal is purely performance based, no politics involved. since its US based company, travel is not required much.but within india, they encourage alot to attend training programs. You have lot many things to learn here..firstly, GE is a highly professional world..we can build good mannerism personally..in technical domain, infinite opportunities are there to expand your knowledge base. rarely micro management happens... Until you work for it, you love everything about it...but if by chance you leave GE for any reason, you become complete stranger to them..i had personal experience, i left GE for my UPSC preparation, after few failures, i sent a mail to my manager to revive my career in GE Aviation...but they even didnt reply...atleast they could have sent a reply by saying there are no vacancies right now...poor attitude...Read More
