Addressing the dislikes section of your review, we would like you to understand that the managers take it on themselves balancing quality deliverables to the customers, helping team members’ grow and ensuring a healthy work life balance & over all work life wellbeing of the team members. To accomplish this and remain both a preferred services partner & an employer of choice, there are times when managers need to closely monitor as well as guide certain members of the team who might be in need of support & guidance, to ensure timely adherence to deadlines. What you may have perceived as micromanagement, could have been your manager’s way of lending a helping hand by going out of their way to make sure that the team and the team member, as a whole, succeed in the project. We would also suggest you to have a discussion with your manager to share your observations, concerns & feedback and at the same time confirm in that discussion to better understand the expectations in terms of protocols, outcomes and timelines. You can also talk to your engineering group head or engineering head for we walk the talk when it comes to following the open-door policy. We wish many more years of your happy association with us. Dear Anonymous, Thank you for your positive review on HSC’s remuneration policies and opportunities available for engineers across because of our esteemed clients and plethora of projects on various domains. Coming to the dislikes section of your review, we are a little surprised with the limited information that you seem to have about HSC, allow us to help you get a correct perspective of it. More than half of the development work at HSC, across locations, is in Enterprise Application development using Java, JS & J2EE related technologies. There are multiple on-going projects where we are working with the latest Java releases including Java 12/13, Spring frameworks, React JS & Angular JS latest releases for UI/Front end development and current best practices related to Micro services, DevOps (Kubernetes, Dockers, etc.). These technologies are getting applied in projects related to Telecom (especially for OSS/BSS related development), Retail (Footfall Analytics etc.), Hospitality (WiFi onboarding etc.), IoT (Home Security Applications, etc.), Video Streaming/OTT (Quality of Experience & Content Management System, Learning Management System, etc.). Apart from this, HSC also works on AI/ML enabled enterprise applications and in data & image/video analytics. We also have extensive channels of communication for employees to voice their concern. Dear HSCian, Thank you for reviewing us fairly and highly on parameters affecting the work culture of an organisation like Job security, skill development, Work satisfaction and salary & benefits. Even though you contradict yourself by rating us poorly on work life balance but terming the work environment as stress free, we are thankful to your review. Coming to the “dislikes” section of your review, we find the choice of language to be highly unprofessional and something that showcases your professional maturity and the criticism as vague and misleading. Most of the times people and project managers are working in the interest of the team and the project. What you might have construed as favouritism might have been the case where the manager knows which solution or approach is better, or who needs to be assigned a certain kind of work for a particular duration and identifying individuals who can handle the work at client site better. HSC is a PCMM & CMMi Level 5 certified organisation with a proven track record of over 16 years. An organisation with such legacy definitely cannot perform at the level we are performing with an “Inverted Structure”. Your review stating, “4-5 Managers/Developer”, is lacking context or any background upon which we can respond. This could be a case of misunderstanding; hence, we request you to kindly reach out to your Engineering Group Head or Engineering Head and talk to your reporting manager for better clarity. We would also like the readers of the review to know through you that, at HSC we have internal platforms like Amber, Q2M, Your Ideas Matter etc. through which HSCians can share their concerns and suggestions, even anonymously if they wish so. Coming to the “Dislikes” section of your review, even though highly unusual given that each engineer’s growth and development is tracked by their managers on a regular basis, we advise you to kindly approach your manager, engineering group head or engineering head to get your concern addressed as we walk the talk when it comes to our open-door policy. We would like you to know that we have many on-going projects or R&D initiatives & projects, in which you can work on. Also, there are projects on-going in all domains that we work in and in addition, we have R&D initiatives/projects planned in all the domain that we work in.
