The only good thing is job security given that you don't argue with the management, be it L1, L2, anyone. However the salary and growth opportunities are very limited.

Dislikes

Avoid Jio, if you can't, atleast avoid AIOPs(there's no AI in this project). 9 hours of daily is enforced, even when there's barely any actual work. You have to come to office everyday and no WFH. WORST MANAGEMENT: - The management holds a big time power in the Jio's hierarchy. - The possible worst management. Leaders have too much power and no empathy. If you address them by name, you're gone. They are still stuck in the outdated culture of sir/ma'am. - A proper revenge culture system, everything is remembered and held against you. - Zero room to speak up, argue or disagree, if you do so, it will impact you mentally. NO LEARNING OR GROWTH: - Zero technical challenge. - Filled with office politics and anger issues from higher-ups. -Tech leads, architects never seem to have actually coded, possible worst designs. - Managers only know how to talk, no actual skill or knowledge<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. SALARY, HIKES AND RATINGS(A BIG JOKE): - Max hike is 7% if you give your best</mark>. - Rating system is broken and not constant every year. For the same rating, a year before you would have got a better hike and a better PLI. - Accoring to managers, you get A for completing all the tasks assigned to you. And A+ if you work on weekends. And A*, if you keep working everyday through out the year. A* being the highest you get 10% increment. For A+ it varies every year. For B, no PLI and no increment. - Hard work isn't rewarded unless you sacrifice personal life. POLICY AND PERKS(JUST NAMES): - Leave policy is bad. No wfhs. - No promotions. Don't even dream of growth. - No proper perks. No team outings, no lunches. - Fancy projects shown to outsiders, inside it's all legacy junk. CULTURE AND PEOPLE: - Hierachy is everyting, L1s butter L2s and L2s do the same. - Senior management is well-settled, they're not going anywhere anytime soon. - Promotions are impossible. FINAL VERDICT: Worst company to work for. If you care about learning and respect. Jio is not the place. Stay away. Join Jio after 35 years of good experience, take hefty paycheck and do nothing. No one's there to question you as long as you can butter well....Read More
