Everything at the organization is good. Company has good policies set in support for the employees.

Salary and promotions. 1. The company doesn't offer good salaries at all. 2. No proper goal setting process is closely watched to enable growth/promotions within the organization.

This place is just okay, that's about it - "bit" flexible timings, sat-sun off, colleagues are mostly fine (but every team will obviously have some jokers who'll be manager's favourite for being dumb), environment is overall good. There's no work from home policy but if you deal with Pearson US, Canada, Australia, that is anywhere except India, then you "may" have work from home facility and lot more flexibility in the timings because of time zones. Politics, biasness...like I said, this place is no different. Salary/appraisals/bonus will never be satisfactory to anyone anywhere but for my team it's not that bad - can't say how it's for the entire company. My only suggestion is to know your true value and ask accordingly. If you think you deserve, for instance, 30k ask for 50k and don't settle for less than 45k. HR's job is to be company's cry baby and fake that they don't have the budget which is a lie. I can say that because I'm at a managerial level and we increase budget to even 70% if we've the right candidate. Never settle for less, do your research and ask NOT what YOU think is right but what your research says is right....Read More
