1. Work culture is toxic, they play politics at all levels. There are two people who are like veterans and are going to spend their entire life at Tata Starbucks only, their names are Adrit Mishra and Ajith Kumar. Specifically Adrit Mishra is from so-called IIM Calcutta, but all he knows is play politics, get after life of people. His strength is to keep repeating the same stuff for business that would have given slightest of the results in the past even if it doesn’t make sense in the current scenario. There is no new idea, innovation that has ever come out from him. He thinks he is the owner of Tata Starbucks not from business perspective but from dictatorship perspective. 2. Pay- Pay is so so low that after a while you start questioning your existence. Even if they promote you to some senior manager:GM level your salary when compared to other organization is half or even low. 3. Favouritism 4. Lack of common sense 5. There was a marketing director named Deepa Krishnan, she was disliked by all for the simple reason she had no business knowledge and zero clarity on marketing fundamentals, zero people management skill but she was still there as ceo and other directors used her as pawn. 6. They are simply riding on the backs of great brand “Starbucks” yet not able to leverage it 7.
