POSITION PURPOSE:
The Personal Assistant to the Group Chief Commercial Officer (GCCO) provides high-level strategic, administrative, and operational support to ensure the seamless execution of the Commercial teams priorities. This role is instrumental in enabling the GCCO to function efficiently by managing day-to-day schedules, coordinating business activities, and preparing data-driven insights for effective decision-making.
JOB ROLES AND EXPECTATIONS:
Key Roles / Duties
Data Analysis and Reporting
1. Conduct research, analyze relevant data, and provide well-informed recommendations to support decision-making.
2. Analyze business data to help the GCCO identify key focus areas, track performance metrics and evaluate progress against strategic objectives.
3. Develop high-quality presentations, dashboards, and reports that support clear communication and decision-making.
4. Compile, analyze, and prepare performance reports on commercial activities including sales, marketing, and financial outcomes.
5. Coordinate reporting for the GCCO, including regulatory compliance updates, progress reports, and budgetary analysis.
6. Ensure the company complies with legal agreements and maintains a high standard of corporate governance and accountability.
Executive Support to the GCCO
1. Manage the GCCOs calendar, travel plans, and priorities in alignment with long-term goals and business demands.
2. Prepare for commercial meetings by organizing agendas, briefing materials, and ensure the GCCO is equipped with all necessary information.
3. Draft correspondences/responses including reports and presentations on behalf of the GCCO for his review and approval
Meeting & Event Management
1. Organize and support monthly performance review meetings, ensuring timely sharing of documentation and engagement of relevant stakeholders.
2. Attend commercial meetings, take accurate minutes, and follow up on assigned action points to ensure progress is tracked and reported.
3. Monitor the flow of critical information and ensure the GCCO is looped into important discussions and decisions at the appropriate time.
Project and/ program implementation
1. Facilitate execution of strategic initiatives and monitor progress on key deliverables.
2. Coordinate key projects that involve multiple departments, ensuring alignment with the Commercial department goals.
3. Facilitate collaboration across teams, helping to drive progress, resolve issues, and keep assignments on schedule.
4. Develop and implement efficient systems and processes to improve operations and support the successful delivery of initiatives.
Administration
1. Support Country Managers and other GCCO direct reports to ensure operational continuity across all commercial units.
2. Maintain secure and up-to-date records, always ensuring confidentiality.
3. Provide advisory support on the best operational practices and continuous improvement opportunities.
4. Maintain a leave Rota for departmental staff and advise GCCO to ensure business continuity
5. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the GCCO from time to time.

An Honors Bachelors degree in a business-related course
