Job description

Inward Quality Responsibilities

1. Physical Verification: Verify IQA materials as per the GRN (Goods Receipt Note) list provided by the Inward Stores department.

2. Material Arrangement: Organize inspection materials systematically in trolleys and pallets according to different suppliers.

3. Material Handling: Perform unwrapping and proper rewrapping of materials before and after inspection.

4. Inspection of Bought-Out Items: Conduct inspection and verification of bought-out materials as per the Quality Plan.

5. Inspection of Fabricated Parts: Inspect fabricated and supplier parts based on engineering drawings and the defined quality plan.

6. SAP Documentation: Update inspection lots in SAP post-inspection activities.

7. Tag Generation: Generate and print identification tags for each material through SAP.

8. Nonconformance Handling: Communicate any nonconformities identified during inspection to the Purchase team for further action.

9. Rejection Process: Tag rejected items with a red tag and return them to the Inward Stores department.

10. Daily Reporting: Update the IQA Gemba board on a daily basis to reflect inspection progress and status.

11. 5S Implementation: Maintain 5S standards within the IQA department, including cleaning of instruments, test jigs, and equipment, and organizing files and drawers daily.
