Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Principal Engineer frontend and mobile technologies located in Bengaluru.

The Principal Engineer will work on designing and architecting scalable front end D2C systems, leading complex projects, coding, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.

The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and ensure the technical quality of projects.

As a Principal Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the technology strategy and the execution of engineering initiatives.

What You'll Do :

- Lead the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance frontend D2C systems for both web and mobile applications

- Drive the technology strategy and execution of key engineering initiatives within the frontend and mobile domain.

- Contribute to the codebase, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and efficient frontend solutions.

- Conduct comprehensive code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and actively mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

- Take ownership of and lead complex frontend projects from end-to-end, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

- Partner effectively with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into robust and intuitive user interfaces.

- Tackle complex technical challenges with innovative and scalable solutions.

Qualifications :

- Expertise in designing and architecting scalable frontend systems on the web and mobile.

- Proficiency in coding, code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.

- Experience leading complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of system design principles.

- Deep expertise in designing and architecting scalable frontend systems on the web and mobile.

- Proven proficiency in modern frontend technologies, frameworks, and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar).

- Strong understanding of system design principles, data structures, algorithms, and software development best practices.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Experience in the finance or insurance industry is a plus.
