Admaren - Senior Software Test Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing (5-7 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions.

In this role, you will design and execute test plans, perform manual and automated testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects.

Your expertise in testing practices and tools will contribute to delivering high-quality software while continuously improving testing processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Contribute to the development of test strategies, plans, and test cases for software projects.

- Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze test results, and log/report defects effectively.

- Stay updated on and contribute to the adoption of industry best practices in software testing.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality is integrated into the software development lifecycle.

- Identify opportunities for automation and develop automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium or Appium.

- Participate in defect triage and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.

- Assist in post-release testing to ensure product quality.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

- Stay current with trends, tools, and emerging practices in software testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience as a Test Engineer, with at least 2 years in a senior role.

- Strong experience in test strategy development, test planning, and test case design.

- Extensive hands-on experience with manual testing, automated testing (using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, or others).

- Proficiency with issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

- Strong debugging and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

- Solid understanding of database concepts and experience working with databases (e.g., SQL).

- Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience with test management tools.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests within them is a plus.
