AECOM India is seeking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer for our Hyderabad Office. The vacancy is for the position in the area of BIM Specialist with specialization in HVAC & Refrigeration. Responsibilities, required experience and qualification are summarized below:

Responsibilities:

Expertise in selection of required HVAC systems various applications.

Provide inputs for mechanical design calculations like heat load calculations, ventilation calculations, pressure drop calculations for ducting and piping, duct sizing, pipe sizing, etc.

Preparation of single line design mark-up and drawings like P & ID’s, general layout, duct layout, piping layout.

Shall carry out work in according to relevant codes and standards.

Keep well-informed of latest trends and technologies and implementation of the same

Participation in the progress and coordination meetings of the project.

Responsible for compliance with our QA / QC procedures and implementation of procedures.



Experience:

Experience in MEP design of Infrastructure and Data Centers project with specialization in HVAC and Refrigeration.

Knowledge of relevant design standards as per ASHRAE, NBC, ECBC, NFPA, etc.

Good working knowledge of related software like Navis Works, BIM and AutoCAD

Candidate with design consultancy background will be preferred.





 Qualification 

Diploma/B.E./ B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed Institute with 3-5 years of experience in HVAC Design.
