Lead and oversee the design of mechanica systems for water, wastewater, and desaination projectsDeveop and review process fow diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment ayouts for water treatment faciitiesPerform hydrauic cacuations and equipment sizing for pumps, pipes, and other mechanica componentsCoaborate with muti-discipinary teams to ensure integration of mechanica designs with other engineering discipinesManage and mentor junior designers and drafters in the use of Revit, Pant 3D, and AutoCAD softwareEnsure compiance with reevant codes, standards, and reguations in mechanica system designsPrepare technica specifications and equipment data sheets for procurement purposesConduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary information for design projectsParticipate in cient meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and soutionsReview and approve mechanica drawings and modes before fina submissionTroubeshoot design issues and provide innovative soutions to compex engineering probemsCoordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure proper impementation of mechanica designsStay updated on industry trends and emerging technoogies in water and wastewater treatment processesContribute to the deveopment of best practices and standard operating procedures for the mechanica design teamAssist in the preparation of proposas and cost estimates for new projects

 Quaifications 
Bacheor's degree in Mechanica Engineering, Chemica Engineering, or reated fied from an accredited coege or university. Master's degree preferred.5 - 10 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry, with a focus on process mechanica design for treatment faciities.Professiona Engineering (P.E.) icense or abiity to obtain within 6 months of hire.Proven expertise in using Revit, Pant 3D, and AutoCAD for water market-reated designs. Proficiency in hydrauic modeing software such as WaterGEMS or InfoWater is a pus.Demonstrated experience in project management, incuding budget contro, resource aocation, and timeine adherence.Strong eadership skis with the abiity to mentor junior team members and coaborate effectivey with muti-discipinary teams.Exceent communication skis, both written and verba, with the abiity to present compex technica information to diverse audiences.In-depth knowedge of AWWA, ANSI, ASME, and other reevant industry standards and reguations.Experience with sustainabe design practices and famiiarity with LEED certification processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particuary Exce for data anaysis and PowerPoint for presentations.Abiity to perform site visits and fied work, which may invove cimbing adders, waking on uneven surfaces, and ifting up to 30 pounds.Professiona registration in their designated home office country or be in active pursuit of such registration.Wiingness to trave up to 25% of the time for project site visits and cient meetings.Strong probem-soving skis and abiity to deveop innovative soutions for compex engineering chaenges.Commitment to continuous earning and staying updated on emerging technoogies in water and wastewater treatment processes.
