Job Description
The role would be responsible for overseeing, monitoring, and executing multiple projects across the group, ensuring timely completion, quality delivery, and effective coordination with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for multiple projects.
- Ensure effective execution of projects, monitoring progress, and making necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration across projects.
- Quality and Risk Management
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize potential impacts on project outcomes.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years, in Project Management with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Steel, Mining Projects experience is preferred.
- Bachelor Of Engineering in Mechanical or Metallurgy. MBA- Project Management, PMP
- 5+ years experience in Project Management from the centralized Project Team.
- Experience in Steel Manufacturing set up in Africa would be an added advantage.
