Manager - Engineering (Refrigeration) - Taloja

Role & responsibilities:

The Manager for the Ammonia Refrigeration Plant will assist in overseeing day-to-day operations and maintenance of the refrigeration plant & ensuring efficient plant operation

1. Managing the overall operation of the ammonia refrigeration plant.

2. Coordinate with the maintenance team to perform routine inspections and maintenance.

3. Assist a team of technicians in troubleshooting breakdowns/maintenance.

4. Manage inventory of spare parts for the refrigeration plant.

5. Maintain records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and safety incidents.

6. Monitor and control operational costs to stay within budget.

7. Working in varying environmental conditions like cold storage areas.

Knowledge & Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration system

2. Knowledge in production packing equipment & conveyors

3. Fair knowledge in electrical controls & power system

4. Communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.

2. Minimum 10 12 years of experience in Ammonia refrigeration plants.

3. Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration system.

4. Strong troubleshooting skills.
