Asst. General Manager - Construction (High Rise Building)

Purpose:

To manage day-to-day execution of high-rise or building construction projects by coordinating site activities, manpower, subcontractors, and resources to ensure quality, safety, and timely progress aligned with project goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for high-rise building projects using DPR (Detailed Project Report).
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress against schedule and quality standards.
• Identify potential issues early on and implement corrective actions to minimize delays or cost overruns.
• Supervise on-site execution of civil, structural, and MEP works as per drawings and specifications.
• Implement construction schedules and daily/weekly targets. Ensure material availability and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with Planning, QA/QC, Billing, and Safety departments. Manage subcontractors and labor deployment effectively.
• Resolve technical/site issues with consultants and engineering team.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental compliance.
• Maintain daily progress reports and communicate milestones to the Project Manager.
