The incumbent should be an MBA with 10 to 15 years of expereince in Institutional Sales including PSU Sales, Government Sales, Government Tendering , GEM - Portaland Large Institutions etc in a Large Publishing Company / Education Company.
Job Overview:
- We are looking for a high-potential, analytically strong, and execution-focused Institutional Sales Manager to lead and drive national-level institutional sales across India.
- The role demands a strong understanding of B2B and government procurement channels, strategic account management, and cross-functional coordination to deliver sustainable growth across institutional verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Management: Manage and grow national-level key accounts including Government Institutions, PSUs, Large Corporates, and Education sectors.
Government Sales Expertise: Demonstrate strong working knowledge of GEM Portal, and other government tendering platforms. Should be able to independently manage tendering processes, documentation, compliance, and bid tracking.
Business Development: Identify and unlock new institutional opportunities through structured pipelines, proactive engagement, and by delivering tailored solutions aligned with client needs.
Client Engagement: Build and sustain long-term, trust-based relationships with CXOs, purchase heads, and government procurement officials. Drive executive alignment and joint business planning with major accounts.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams - marketing, supply chain, product, legal, and finance - to ensure timely delivery, product suitability, and account satisfaction.
National Scope: This is a pan-India role, requiring deep understanding of regional markets and execution capabilities across zones.
Reporting & Insights: Maintain dashboards, pipeline metrics, and customer feedback to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement in account performance.
