Senior ABAP Consultant (5-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior ABAP Consultant to join our SAP team at our Mumbai office. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP on ECC and S/4HANA environments, with expertise in custom development, enhancements, and workflow configuration. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of SAP architecture, and the ability to collaborate with functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs and enhancements in ECC and S/4HANA environments.

- Work on complex developments involving Reports, Module Pool (Dialog) Programming, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Interactive Forms.

- Develop and implement solutions using User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework, and SAP Workflow.

- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.

- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and solution validation to ensure adherence to SAP standards and best practices.

- Provide support for SAP custom developments and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.

- Ensure high performance, scalability, and maintainability of ABAP code in live production environments.

- Document technical designs, unit test results, and user guides as required.

Technical Skills Required :

- Minimum 5 years of full-time experience in SAP ABAP ECC and S/4HANA.

- Proficient in Classical and ALV Reports, Dialog Programming, Smart Forms, and SAP Scripts.

- Strong experience with Adobe Interactive Forms development and troubleshooting.

- Hands-on experience with BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, and Workflow Configuration.

- Familiarity with object-oriented ABAP and performance tuning techniques.

- Experience in integrating SAP with external systems via IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, or web services is a plus.

- Knowledge of SAP Fiori and OData Services is an added advantage (optional but preferred).
