Senior Staffing Business Development Manager

- Proactively identify and prospect potential clients within the Chennai region and beyond through various lead generation activities, including market research, networking, cold outreach, and leveraging industry databases. Target organizations requiring both permanent and contract staffing solutions across diverse sectors.
- Create compelling and customized proposals for staffing services (permanent and contract) that clearly articulate our value proposition, address client-specific needs, and outline service delivery models.
- Develop and implement targeted strategies to acquire clients with specialized staffing needs, positioning the company as the go-to partner for niche recruitment solutions within specific industries or skill sets.
- Draft comprehensive contracts covering all essential terms, service fees, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), confidentiality clauses, and other legal and commercial aspects of the staffing engagement.
- Present proposals to potential clients in a persuasive and professional manner, effectively communicating our capabilities and value. Skillfully negotiate contract terms, including pricing structures, payment schedules, and performance expectations, to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Oversee the finalization of contracts, ensuring all agreed-upon terms are accurately documented and signed by both parties.
- Gather comprehensive client business details, including organizational structure, hiring processes, compliance requirements, and necessary legal paperwork (e.g., NDA, EEO policies).
- Work closely and collaboratively with the internal recruitment team to clearly communicate client needs, job specifications, and required candidate profiles to ensure effective sourcing and candidate matching.
- Actively track and analyze feedback received from clients regarding candidate quality, service delivery, and overall satisfaction. Communicate this feedback to the recruitment team to facilitate continuous improvement in candidate sourcing and screening strategies.
- Prepare and issue formal offer letters or contract documents to selected candidates (both permanent and contract-based) on behalf of the client, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal and company guidelines.
- Maintain consistent and proactive communication with clients throughout the engagement lifecycle, soliciting feedback, addressing concerns, and ensuring ongoing satisfaction. Build and nurture strong, long-term client relationships.
- Regularly track client satisfaction levels and proactively identify upcoming staffing needs and potential opportunities for future contracts and business expansion within existing client accounts.
- Proven Business Development and Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new clients, specifically within the staffing industry.
- Deep Understanding of the Staffing Industry: Comprehensive knowledge of both permanent and contract staffing processes, market trends, pricing models, and legal considerations.
- Exceptional Lead Generation and Prospecting Abilities: Strong skills in utilizing various methods and tools to identify and qualify potential clients.
- Excellent Proposal Writing and Presentation Skills: Ability to create compelling and customized proposals and deliver persuasive presentations to clients.
- Strong Negotiation and Closing Skills: Proven ability to effectively negotiate contract terms and successfully close deals.
- Proficiency in Contract Drafting and Management: Experience in drafting, reviewing, and managing staffing contracts.
- Exceptional Client Relationship Management Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients at various levels.
- Outstanding Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
- Strong Collaboration and Teamwork Skills: Ability to work effectively with internal recruitment teams and other departments to achieve business objectives.
- Market Awareness and Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date understanding of the staffing market in Chennai and relevant industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
- Results-Oriented and Target-Driven: A strong focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets and business development goals.
- Proficiency in CRM Software: Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM) to manage leads, track activities, and maintain client information.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in business development or sales roles within the staffing and recruitment industry.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets and successfully acquiring new clients for both permanent and contract staffing solutions.
- Strong existing network of potential clients and industry contacts within the Chennai region is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of the Chennai staffing market and its specific dynamics.
- Excellent understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and their application in staffing contracts.
