Apps Associates - EPM Application Support Analyst (5-7 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- L1/L2 Application Support : Provide front-line and escalated technical and functional support for EPM applications (e.g., Oracle Hyperion Planning, HFM, Essbase, FCCS, PBCS, OneStream, Anaplan, etc., specify platform if known).

- Troubleshooting & Resolution : Diagnose and resolve complex application issues, data load failures, calculation errors, and reporting discrepancies.

- Data Management & Validation : Monitor and troubleshoot data loads, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data within EPM applications. Validate reports and dashboards.

- Metadata & Dimension Management : Assist with metadata updates, dimension management, and hierarchy changes as per business requirements.

- User Management : Manage user access, security profiles, and roles within the EPM environment.

- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive support documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides.

- Release Management : Support patching, upgrades, and testing activities related to EPM applications.

- Stakeholder Communication : Effectively communicate with business users, IT teams, and vendor support to ensure timely resolution of issues and user satisfaction.

- Process Improvement : Identify opportunities to enhance EPM system stability, performance, and user experience through proactive measures and process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in supporting EPM applications, with strong functional and/or technical knowledge.

- Expertise in at least one major EPM suite is essential (e.g., Oracle Hyperion Planning, HFM, Essbase, Smart View; or Oracle EPM Cloud modules like FCCS, PBCS, EPBCS).

- Strong understanding of financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, financial close, consolidation, and reporting.

- Proficiency in EPM data loading processes and tools.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.

- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal abilities to interact with finance users and technical teams.

- Ability to work in a hybrid model (on-site and remote as per company policy).

- EPM certifications are a plus
