Apps Associates - Oracle EBS Technical Consultant - Implementation & Support (6-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Customization & Development (CEMLI) : Design, develop, and maintain CEMLIs (Configurations, Extensions, Modifications, Localizations, Integrations) within Oracle E-Business Suite using tools like PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, OAF, and BI Publisher.

- Integrations : Develop and support integrations between EBS modules and with external systems using various methods including standard APIs, interface tables, custom programs, and web services.

- Technical Support & Troubleshooting : Provide expert-level technical support for EBS applications, diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to performance, data integrity, and functionality.

- Patching & Upgrades : Assist in the planning and execution of EBS patching, upgrades, and migration activities, ensuring minimal disruption.

- Performance Tuning : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks within EBS applications and database, optimizing custom code and system configurations.

- Technical Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical design documents, test plans, and troubleshooting guides for EBS customizations and integrations.

- Code Review : Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and maintainability.

- Collaboration : Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and other technical teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality EBS solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.

- 6+ years of hands-on technical experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).

- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Workflow.

- Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and/or BI Publisher development is highly desirable.

- Solid understanding of core EBS modules (e.g., Financials, SCM, HRMS) and their underlying table structures.

- Expertise in EBS integration methods and APIs.

- Experience with EBS AD utilities and patching processes.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment
