Apps Associates - DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Tools (2-5 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- CI/CD Pipeline Management : Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar, ensuring efficient build, test, and deployment processes.

- Automation : Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.

- Containerization & Orchestration : Work with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) for application deployment and management.

- Cloud Infrastructure : Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) to support application scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

- Monitoring & Logging : Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system health, performance, and proactive issue detection.

- Version Control : Manage source code repositories (Git) and ensure best practices for branching, merging, and code versioning.

- Scripting : Develop and maintain automation scripts (Shell, Python, PowerShell) to streamline operational tasks.

- Collaboration : Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate automation, foster a culture of shared responsibility, and improve release cycles.

- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure, deployment, and application-related issues in production and non-production environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.

- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.

- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Travis CI).

- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e., Python, Shell, PowerShell).

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

- Experience with version control systems, especially Git.

- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a passion for automation and process improvement
