Job Description
- Evaluating patients before surgery or other medical procedures to determine their medical history, current health status, and the appropriate anesthesia to administer
- Administering and monitoring anesthesia during surgical or medical procedures to ensure patients remain comfortable and safe throughout the process
- Responding to changes in a patient's condition during the procedure, adjusting anesthesia levels, and monitoring vital signs to ensure a patient's stability
- Providing post-operative care and monitoring, including managing pain and potential side effects of anesthesia
- Collaborating with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe and effective anesthesia care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and communicating with other healthcare professionals as necessary
