Role Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior ODI Developer (Data Engineer) to be based in Hyderabad. This role will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in PL/SQL, SQL, and ETL methodologies, with a deep understanding of ODI components and modules. You will be instrumental in building robust and efficient data integration solutions, ensuring data quality and availability for business needs. We prefer candidates who are early joiners (0-30 days) and are proactive in the interview process.

Responsibilities :

ETL Development and Implementation :

- Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c.

- Create and manage ODI Repositories, Packages, Variables, and Scenarios using Interfaces.

- Develop robust and scalable ETL workflows to move and transform data from various sources to target systems.

Database Programming :

- Write complex PL/SQL and SQL queries, functions, stored procedures, cursors, and indexes.

- Optimize query performance using techniques like Bulk Collect and HINT.

- Work with External Tables and Global Temporary Tables.

ODI Expertise :

- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c architecture, components, and modules.

- Utilize ODI features for data integration, transformation, and loading.

- Implement error handling and data quality checks within ODI processes.

Job Scheduling and Monitoring :

- Integrate ODI processes with job scheduling tools like Control-M.

- Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions to ensure the required availability and performance of ETL processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL jobs and data pipelines.

Change Data Capture (CDC) :

- Understand and implement Change Data Capture (CDC) concepts and techniques within the ETL framework.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Collaborate effectively with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and design appropriate solutions.

- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts and project updates clearly.

Oracle Database Experience :

- Work extensively with Oracle databases as both a source and target for ETL processes.

- Understand Oracle database concepts and administration basics.

Best Practices and Standards :

- Adhere to ETL development best practices and coding standards to ensure maintainability and scalability of solutions.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of ETL documentation.

Required Skills :

- Minimum of 5+ years of direct experience with ETL development.

- Must have strong proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL programming.

- Proven experience in developing and implementing ETL solutions.

- In-depth understanding of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c and its components & modules.

- Hands-on experience in creating and managing ODI Repositories, Packages, Variables, and Scenarios using Interfaces.

- Knowledge of Control-M for job scheduling.

- Understanding of CDC (Change Data Capture) concepts.

- Extensive experience in PL/SQL programming, including Functions, Stored Procedures, Cursors, Indexes.

- Expertise in identifying and resolving Query Performance Issues using techniques like Bulk Collect and HINT.

- Experience working with External Tables and Global Temporary Tables in Oracle.

- Experience in implementing monitoring solutions for ETL processes.

- Strong experience with Oracle databases.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5-10 years of relevant experience in ETL development with a strong focus on Oracle Data Integrator.

Work Mode :

Hybrid Work Model :

- Work from Office (WFO) with Work from Home (WFH) on Fridays and Mondays.

Shift Timings : 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST
