Core Job Responsibilities

Finance & Accounts

- Timely preparation/accounting of invoices & revenue recognition.

- Ensure proper accounting of Opex & CAPEX, Income / Revenue & Expenses etc.

- Ability to deal with cross country transactions and comply with the statutory requirements.

- Responsible for various statutory audits and accounts finalisation, preparation of (standalone) financials & consolidated financials under applicable provisions for the group entities.

- Responsible for MIS reporting (cashflow, monthly P&L etc) and support for project and entity profitability, practice reports etc.

- Preparation of other need-based reports and supporting in Budgeting activity.

- Assisting in administering the travel & expense policy and support in reviewing and updating the policy as required.

- Ensure Regulatory compliance under Income Tax Act, Companies Act, GST Act & other laws as applicable for the group entities:

- Support in filing Income Tax (ITR/Tax Audit/TP) with respective departments on timely basis

- TDS Remittance (monthly) & Filing Quarterly TDS Returns and other compliances

- Compliance under VAT & GST remittance (monthly or as applicable) and Return filing and audit(s)

- Compliance (including timely payment & return filing) under Labour laws (PF, PT, LWF, social security, pension etc) as applicable

- Attending notices from various authorities/departments efficiently.

- Support in preparation of reports, handling audits & compliances required under Client contracts.

- Review & Support vetting/drafting of client & vendor contracts & handling legal matters.

- Ensuring compliance in all the statutory & regulatory matters.

Others

- Data maintenance All files relating to Accounts, Banking & other correspondence with various Authorities, Employee personnel files, if any, and Companys contract documents & other relevant correspondence:

- Contract & Vendor Management

- Preparing statements, work orders and purchase orders etc.

- Liaison with bankers for various companys needs on time-to-time basis

- Insurance - Medi-claim and personal accident taking care of Claims & helping employees on Medical Insurance related issues, if any

- Supporting on Employee joining and exit formalities.

- Conducting employee Induction related to Finance & Accounts.

- Support or Contribute to Systems / Process and Improvements to routine tasks.

- Implementing procedures and revisiting the same on timely basis.

- Helping on tax planning to employees / company.

- Preparation of various contracts/agreements.

- Mentoring junior colleagues.

- Other assignments, as needed.

Qualifications And Experience

- Candidate should be a finance professional and should have atleast 4+ years of related work experience at either

- Management Consulting firm

- Chartered Accountancy Firm

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team setting in a fast-paced environment (verbal and written)

- Able to connect with people and collaborate with key stakeholders effectively across different geographies and time zones

- Attention to detail

- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments.

- The ability to meet deadlines.

- Masters or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

- {CA or CPA}

Additional Requirements

This position requires successful completion of a reference check and employment verification.

The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
