Qa Automation Lead

Job Summary

QA Automation Lead will be responsible for Quality Assurance for projects (1 or more projects) across different clients. He/She will establish project priorities and manage the activities of the QA Automation Engineers within the team, delivering each project in a timely manner, ensuring quality, performance and conformance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Participate in defining overall project releases
• Work with leadership team to achieve project level objectives
• Oversee project test planning and execution
• Automation project plan/strategy development and establishing automation milestones
• Develop and Execute Automation metrics and Dashboards
• Co-ordination with release management, POs, development, deployment, QA and UAT teams to ensure delivering with high quality and timely manner
• Coordinate and manage allocation of all QA Automation Engineers to ensure delivery of results
• Development and maintenance of QA Automation estimation matching project needs
• Tracking automation project status and ensuring project adhere to quality, schedule and budget
• Communicating automation project status to all stakeholders
• Anticipate and address project huddles. Issue resolution and escalation
• Team management skills in terms of recognition, communication and contributions
• Review current automation code standards and quality. Identify, Improve and Implement appropriate techniques to match project needs
• Assist in research and implementation of appropriate automation tools, framework. Works to resolve all complex problems. Reports progress on problem resolution to management
• Evaluate different technology platforms and their feasibility study to improve quality standards
• Automation tools to reduce manual intervention and improve project delivery
• Ensure automation code reusability, scalability, robustness and flexibility with respect to design
• Reduce automation maintenance effort and increase efficiency and ROI
• Explore automation testing using CICD pipeline in an efficient manner
• Create test data, automate test cases and test execution for applications
