SAP PPDS Consultant - APO/DP/SNP Modules (10-12 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design and configure SAP PPDS within the APO framework to meet client business requirements.

- Implement and optimize PPDS planning strategies, including planning heuristics, optimization profiles, and alert management.

- Configure and manage master data relevant to PPDS, such as locations, products, and resources.

- Develop and maintain functional specifications and technical documentation.

- Analyze and optimize supply chain planning processes using SAP PPDS.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and process inefficiencies.

- Provide expert advice on best practices for PPDS implementation and utilization.

- Work with clients to understand their needs and translate them into SAP PPDS solutions.

- Integrate SAP PPDS with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP MM, SAP SD) and external systems.

- Plan and execute comprehensive testing scenarios to ensure system functionality and performance.

- Provide support during user acceptance testing and go-live phases.

- Manage project tasks and deliverables within defined timelines and budgets.

- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.

- Provide training and knowledge transfer to client teams.

- Work within a hybrid work environment.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP PPDS/APO functionalities and best practices.

- Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in SAP PPDS - APO consulting.

- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and configuring SAP PPDS within the APO suite.

- Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes and best practices.

- Proficiency in PPDS master data management, planning heuristics, and optimization profiles.

- Experience in integrating SAP PPDS with other SAP modules and external systems.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proven track record of successful SAP PPDS implementations.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

- SAP PPDS/APO certification is highly desirable.
