Position: Sales Officer

Role Overview
To achieve the given sales target of the assigned HQ and to manage Interim Sales Representatives (ISR's) & deliver results in line with zonal & organizational expectations.
Department - Sales: General Trade

Reports To - Area Sales Manager

Type of Role - Individual Contributor/People Manager


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver sales targets in defined market/geography
• Appoint and manage Channel Partners in defined market/geography
• Expand town coverage and distribution outlets to build extraction intensity
• Visit markets/distributors as per PJP to strengthen market execution & trade relationships
• Leveraging Sales Automation Tools to provide structured, logical, relevant & organized information to ISR’s & utilizing for growth & productivity
• Ensuring implementation and effective utilization of Dealer Management System (DMS) at channel partners.
• Resolve channel-specific issues within specific timelines
• Manage given infrastructure through regular meetings with distributors, retailers and off-roll sales representatives

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Full time MBA from a recognized University

Experience

• Minimum 4-6 years of hardcore sales experience in FMCG/similar industry in GT business.
• Should have handled a diverse team of salesman/ISR across different locations.
