Role & responsibilities

The role focuses on supporting Quality Control operations at 3P manufacturing sites and packaging development activities. The position requires coordination with vendors, R&D, and internal teams to ensure quality compliance and effective implementation of BCCL quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

Primary Focus (70% 3P QC Management): 1. Audit and periodic review of 3P operations for FG release as per BCCL specifications. 2. Audit of BPR, IPQC and QC documentation at 3P units to ensure regulatory compliance. 3. Ensure RM/PM/FG & microbiology examination at 3P units is done as per process. 4. Ensure 3P teams implement CAPA for market complaints and non-conformance control. 5. Drive implementation of BCCL QA practices at 3P including MIS documentation, records and analysis. 6. Support QMS programs, Quality MIS and engage cross-functionally with stakeholders. Secondary Focus (30% – Packaging QA Support): 7. Support NPD/change controls and execution of packaging development activities. 8. Engage in mould development with R&D and conduct validations/FATs. 9. Identify alternate packaging technologies/materials for cost reduction and margin improvement. 10. Plan and conduct periodic audits at plants and vendors to ensure quality checks. 11. Manage artworks for QA team; coordinate with CFT for approvals, print proofs and shade cards. Qualifications & Experience Educational Qualifications: ➤ B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry or B.Tech with IIP/CIPET certification. ➤ Good knowledge in Mould Management, NPD, Artwork and Printing division. Relevant Experience: ➤ 5 years of experience in packaging, rigid plastics, moulds, printing and FMCG quality systems. ➤ Strong understanding of SAP (QM module preferred), validations, R&D protocols, FAT, PM analysis. ➤ Ability to align customer needs with vendor execution of R&D protocols. ➤ Good communication and teamwork skills with vendors and CFT collaboration
