Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis with experience in gathering and translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable solutions. This role involves workingclosely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, driving data-informeddecision-making, and supporting end-to-end project execution to align with strategic business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for banking and finance projects.
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to ensure clarity and completeness.
- Document detailed business, functional, and technical requirements in the form of BRDs, FRDs, FSDs,FRSs, and user stories.
- Collaborate with UI/UX teams on wireframing and use case development to ensure business needs are accurately translated into design.
- Use Azure DevOps to manage work items, create user stories, maintain backlogs, and track project progress.
- Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in coordination with Agile teams.
- Perform gap analysis, process mapping, and impact assessments to support transformation initiatives.
- Support end-to-end project delivery from discovery through testing and implementation.
- Coordinate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Engage in UAT planning, execution, and support defect tracking and resolution.
- Deliver clear and concise reports, dashboards, and project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure that all business solutions comply with banking standards, data security, and regulatory requirements.

Required skillset:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Banking, Financial Services, IT, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, and familiarity with Power BI or Tableau for reporting and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of banking/financial products, services, and operations.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have:
- Experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain.
- Exposure to regulatory or compliance-heavy environments (eg, AML, KYC, Basel, GDPR).
- Understanding of Blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies , and related regulatory considerations.
