Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Planning (ASCP) Consultant with a deep understanding of Oracle EBS R12, specifically within Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP), Production Scheduling, and other key manufacturing modules. The ideal candidate will lead the configuration, implementation, and support of Oracle ASCP in a manufacturing environment, supporting business needs across planning, scheduling, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities :

1. ASCP Implementation and Configuration :

- Design, configure, and deploy Oracle ASCP applications within the EBS environment.

- Implement planning processes aligned with manufacturing and supply chain best practices.

2. Business Analysis and Stakeholder Engagement :

- Gather and analyse business requirements.

- Design, configure, and deploy Oracle ASCP applications within the EBS environment.

- Implement planning processes aligned with manufacturing and supply chain best practices.

- Conduct user training and prepare documentation.

- Engage with clients to identify areas for system and process optimization.

3. Planning and Process Management :

- Understand and model supply chain and manufacturing processes.

- Manage plan creation and execution, constraint-based planning, and exception handling.

- Conduct what-if simulations for planning scenarios.

4. Functional Areas and System Configuration :

- Demand, supply, capacity, and distribution planning.

- Inventory management.

- Integration and system configuration to align with business needs.

- Data integration and master data management.

5. Production Scheduling :

- Develop and manage efficient production schedules.

- Optimize resource utilization and material availability.

- Align scheduling with customer demand and inventory levels.

- Coordinate with production teams to mitigate scheduling conflicts.

- Drive improvements in delivery performance, throughput, and cost efficiency.

6. Data Management and Migration :

- Lead data conversion and migration from legacy systems to Oracle EBS.

- Ensure data integrity and consistency during transitions.

7. Functional and Technical Expertise :

- Strong knowledge of Oracle ASCP, Production Scheduling, Inventory, WIP, BOM, and other manufacturing modules.

- Work closely with technical teams for troubleshooting and performance tuning.

8. Project Support and Continuous Improvement :

- Participate in end-to-end project activities: planning, implementation, UAT, and post-go live support.

- Stay current with Oracle product updates and contribute to process enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications :

- 10-12 years in Oracle Manufacturing/Planning implementations and support.

- Strong grasp of supply chain, inventory, and manufacturing best practices.

- Proficient in Oracle databases (8i to 19c), PL/SQL, and SQL Developer.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, analytical thinking, and teamwork.
