Job Description
We are looking for a talented Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team in Mohali, Punjab . The ideal candidate should have 1-4 years of experience in developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails (RoR) . You will work closely with our development team to design, build, and deploy scalable web solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services.
- Ensure the security and scalability of applications.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in Ruby on Rails development.
Required Skills Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development .
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases .
- Mandatory experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with Git version control .
- Familiarity with background jobs (Sidekiq, Resque, etc.) .
- Understanding of TDD/BDD using RSpec or Minitest is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with React.js for frontend development.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines .
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment .
- E-commerce experience like Spreecommerce Open Source experience.
- Good understanding of payment gateways.
