Deputy Manager - Maintenance

Role & responsibilities

• Taking care of all kinds of maintenance of equipment and machinery including Electrical, HVAC systems, Kitchen and Food Production equipment, Refrigeration and Gensets.

• Taking care of all kinds of preventive maintenance operations & procedures.

• Decrease annual maintenance contract costs through collaborations with Training team such that store members know how to handle equipment well.

• Reduce maintenance costs by ensuring adherence to the preventive maintenance plan.

• Ensure reduction in the cost of utilities through maintenance, training, choosing the right products and developing product maintenance protocols.
• Create Preventive Maintenance calendar as per manufacturers suggestions, warranty terms and experience.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure critical inventory is maintained in good working condition.

• Reduce the average mean time to repair for equipment by engaging with the team, manufacturers and Operations team.

• Supervision of maintenance staff and maintain all equipment in working order with 'like new' appearance.
• Ensure equipment breakdown is corrected urgently to prevent disruptions in operations.
• Optimizing of energy and repairs & maintenance costs.
• Supervise technical training of store team and arm them with basic troubleshooting techniques. • Verification of Bills for Quality and Quantity of work done.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduates in HVAC / Electrical / mechanical Engineering

Industry Preference

QSR / Retail / Hotel industry preferable.
