UI/Frontend Lead - Web Applications (8-10 yrs)

Job Overview :

We are looking for a talented and experienced UI/Frontend Lead to lead the development of high-performance, responsive, and visually appealing web applications. As a Frontend Lead, you will play a critical role in setting the technical direction for frontend development, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver top-tier user experiences.

You must have deep expertise in Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and frontend architectural best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of scalable and modular web applications using Angular (v2+), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

- Implement and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices to ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.

- Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into responsive, pixel-perfect interfaces that deliver seamless user experiences.

- Integrate frontend applications with backend RESTful Web APIs, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable data communication.

- Optimize application speed, responsiveness, and browser compatibility through techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and caching.

- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical leadership to ensure knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

- Implement real-time functionalities using socket programming (SSL/HTTPS), enabling live data updates and notifications.

- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using modern testing frameworks (i.e., Jasmine, Karma, Cypress).

- Conduct rigorous debugging and performance profiling.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, stand-ups), contribute to backlog grooming, and coordinate closely with cross-functional teams.

Requirements :

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular (2+)

- Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and Bootstrap

- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

- Solid grasp of object-oriented programming and component-based architecture

- Proficient in Web API integration and real-time communication via WebSockets

- Familiarity with RxJS, NgRx or other state management solutions is a plus

- Exposure to CI/CD, Git, and DevOps processes

Leadership & Communication :

- 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or team lead role

- Ability to mentor, review code, and support the growth of junior developers

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Testing & Tools :

- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, Cypress)

- Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Angular CLI, etc
