Technical Lead (4-5 yrs)

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tech Lead to guide our engineering team in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions.

The Tech Lead will act as the technical authority within the team, driving architectural decisions, mentoring developers, and ensuring the timely delivery of scalable and maintainable products. This role requires a strong balance of hands-on coding expertise and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of software applications and systems.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Drive architecture and design decisions ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.

- Review code and enforce best practices and coding standards.

- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Manage technical debt and ensure code quality through automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.

- Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

- 6+ years of full-stack software development experience, with at least 2 years in a Tech Lead or similar role.

Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in backend languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or .NET.

- Frontend experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.

- Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and integration patterns.

- Database experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.

- Hands-on with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.

- Experience working in Agile Scrum or SAFe environments using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps.
