Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP HR Technical Consultant to join our dedicated team in Hyderabad. With 5 to 12 years of robust experience in SAP HR ABAP design and development, you will be instrumental in building, enhancing, and supporting our critical SAP HCM solutions. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, functional understanding of HR modules, and the ability to resolve complex issues, ensuring our HR systems are efficient, reliable, and integrated.
Job Description :
- SAP HR ABAP Development Expertise : Possess 5 to 12 years of strong hands-on experience in SAP HR ABAP design and development, specifically within the SAP HCM module.
- HR Logical Databases : Demonstrate expertise in utilizing HR logical databases for developing reports, programs, and screens, ensuring efficient data retrieval.
- Functional Understanding (HCM) : Possess strong functional knowledge of key SAP HCM modules, particularly Payroll (PY), Organizational Management (OM), and Personnel Administration (PA).
- HR Macro Proficiency : Extensive experience working with HR macros for effectively reading and manipulating data from various infotypes.
- HR BAPIs/FMs : Proven experience with HR-relevant Function Modules (FMs) and BAPIs that can be used to update and manage HR data.
- Interface Programming : Significant experience in interfacing SAP HR with external (non-SAP) systems, ensuring seamless data flow and integration.
- Implementation Experience : Has participated in 2+ full cycle implementations as an SAP HR ABAP Developer, from blueprinting to go-live and post-go-live support.
- ABAP Technologies : Strong hands-on knowledge in various ABAP technologies, including
- Technical Problem Solving : Possess the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues independently and manage critical/complex situations effectively.
- Technical Specifications : Proven experience in writing and validating detailed technical specifications based on functional requirements.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills : Exhibit strong logical and analytical abilities combined with excellent problem-solving skills to tackle challenging technical scenarios.
- Collaboration : Work closely with Functional, Technical (e.g., Basis, other module ABAPers), and Business teams to design and implement secure and scalable solutions as per the requirements.
Required Skills (Mandatory) :
- SAP HR ABAP Development (5-12 years)
- SAP HCM experience (HR logical databases, OM, PA, Payroll)
- HR macros, FMs/BAPIs for HR data update
- External system interfacing
- 2+ full cycle implementations as HR ABAP Developer
- Object-Oriented ABAP, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts
- Enhancement Framework, BAdIs, Interactive Reporting, Dialog Programming
- Technical specification writing and validation
- Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Good to Have :
- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 development in an HR context.
- Experience with HR Renewal functionalities.
- Knowledge of Web Dynpro ABAP for HR.
