Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Snowflake Data Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines using Snowflake, ensuring data integrity and efficiency and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Snowflake.
- Integrate diverse data sources, ensuring data is correctly ingested, processed, and available for analysis.
- Optimize database performance, including query performance tuning and resource management.
- Ensure high levels of data quality and integrity through robust testing and validation processes.
- Stay up-to-date with new Snowflake features and advancements to implement innovative solutions.
- Python scripting
- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Create and maintain knowledge base documentation of data workflows and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Snowflake.
- Proficiency in SQL and SnowSQL.
- Experience with any ETL/ELT processes and tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica, Airbyte, DBT etc).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with data warehousing and data lakes
- Proficiency in Python
- Good working knowledge of Snowpark libraries
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core) is required.
