Senior Technical Lead - Cloud Technologies (10-12 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and articulate the company's cloud strategy, aligning it with business objectives and technology roadmaps.

- Design and architect robust, scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies to optimize performance, efficiency, and innovation.

- Develop and maintain cloud architecture blueprints, standards, and best practices.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams on cloud-related technologies and best practices.

- Guide the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications and services.

- Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes related to cloud architecture and implementation.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines.

- Oversee the provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure resources.

- Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Ensure the security, compliance, and governance of our cloud environment.

- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.

- Champion and implement DevOps practices and automation tools to streamline deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and operational processes.

- Drive the adoption of automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.

- Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless and efficient delivery of software.

- Lead the resolution of complex technical challenges related to cloud infrastructure and applications.

- Stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on our business.

- Drive innovation by exploring and implementing new cloud services and solutions.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and security.

- Communicate technical concepts and solutions clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Document cloud architectures, processes, and best practices.

Skills and Experience :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 10-12 years of overall software development experience, with a significant focus on cloud technologies.

- Deep expertise in one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure and applications.

- Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, serverless computing, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Solid understanding of security best practices for cloud environments.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

- Knowledge of networking concepts relevant to cloud environments
