Power BI Developer - Dashboard Design & Reporting (6-18 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and reports from various data sources.

- Develop and maintain robust data models within Power BI, ensuring data integrity and performance.

- Utilize DAX to create complex calculations, measures, and KPIs.

- Connect to and transform data from diverse sources, including databases, data warehouses, and cloud platforms.

- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.

- Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and scalability.

- Implement and maintain Power BI security models and data governance policies.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices.

- (For Senior/Lead levels) Lead Power BI projects and mentor junior team members.

- (For Lead levels) Define Power BI standards and best practices for the organization.

- (For Lead levels) Manage and administer the Power BI environment.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

- 6-18 years of progressive experience working with Microsoft Power BI.

- Deep understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.

- Expert-level proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).

- Strong experience in connecting to and transforming data from various sources.

- Excellent data analysis and validation skills.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing principles.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other BI tools (e.g, Tableau, Qlik Sense).

- Knowledge of SQL and database management.

- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g, Azure Synapse Analytics, AWS Redshift).

- Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g, Azure Data Factory, SSIS).

- Understanding of data governance and security best practices
