DevOps Architect - Docker/Kubernetes (9-14 yrs)

Job Overview :

As a DevOps Architect, you will design and implement scalable and efficient DevOps solutions, focusing on improving the overall development, deployment, and operations processes. You will work closely with development teams, IT operations, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture Design :

- Design and implement scalable and secure DevOps solutions and infrastructure.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

Process Improvement :

- Identify and address bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the software development lifecycle.

- Advocate for and implement best practices in automation, monitoring, and performance optimization.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.

- Facilitate communication between teams to align development efforts with operational needs.

Tool Selection and Implementation :

- Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure management.

- Implement and maintain tools for monitoring, logging, and performance management.

Security and Compliance :

- Ensure that DevOps practices adhere to security and compliance standards.

- Implement security measures and practices within the CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.

Documentation and Training :

- Create and maintain documentation related to DevOps processes, tools, and best practices.

- Provide training and support to development and operations teams on DevOps practices and tools.

Troubleshooting and Support :

- Diagnose and resolve issues related to software deployments, infrastructure, and automation.

- Provide support for production environments, including incident response and resolution.

Qualifications :

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional DevOps Engineer) preferred.

Experience : Experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or related roles.

Technical Skills :

- Strong Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform& Devops

- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

- Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
