Backend Developer - Node.js Framework (5-12 yrs)

Job Overview :

We are looking for a Backend Developer (Full Stack) with expertise in Node.js, AWS Lambda, and NoSQL databases. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in backend development with microservices architecture while also being comfortable with React.js for frontend work.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js & Express.js.

- Build and optimize serverless functions with AWS Lambda & API Gateway.

- Work with DynamoDB / MongoDB / MySQL to handle large-scale data operations.

- Implement microservices design patterns for high-performance applications.

- Ensure secure and efficient API development for seamless frontend-backend integration.

- Work on React.js (basic experience acceptable) for minor frontend modifications.

- Write unit tests using Jest to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

- Deploy and manage AWS services like S3, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, EC2.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.

- Work closely with business and technical teams to translate requirements into high-quality code.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in a Full Stack / Backend role.

- Strong expertise in Node.js, Express.js, and microservices architecture.

- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other AWS services.

- Experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB) and SQL databases (MySQL).

- Knowledge of React.js, Redux, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS/Flex/Grid, and HTML.

- Strong understanding of REST API development and authentication mechanisms.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development methodologies.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with GraphQL and WebSockets.

- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
