Job Summary :

We are actively seeking experienced AMS Verification Engineers for our Bangalore team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analog and mixed-signal (AMS) verification across multiple IPs and experience with industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence or Synopsys.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform AMS verification for multiple IP blocks using Cadence (Xcelium + Spectre) and/or Synopsys (XA + VCS) simulation environments.

Analyze and verify AMS building blocks including :

- Data Converters (e.g., Sigma Delta ADCs)

- Filters, Comparators, Op-Amps, Switched Capacitor Circuits

- Various ADC/DAC architectures

- Charge Pumps, Current Mirrors, and Voltage Regulators

- Prepare detailed test plans based on product specifications and system requirements.

- Develop and debug test cases, propose new verification scenarios and ensure comprehensive coverage.

- Use Verilog, Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, and Verilog-D for modeling and simulation.

- Ensure testbench development aligns with scope, effort, and schedule constraints.

- Collaborate with design and system engineering teams for root cause analysis and resolution of issues.

- Maintain quality documentation and reports as per project deliverables.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in AMS Verification.

- Strong command over simulation tools :

- Cadence Xcelium + Spectre

- Synopsys XA + VCS

- Deep functional knowledge of analog/mixed-signal circuits.

- Proficient in writing testbenches, test cases, and simulation scripts.

- Good understanding of digital design, Verilog HDL, and analog circuit theory.

- Hands-on experience in behavioral modeling (Verilog-D, Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS).

- Ability to handle project dynamics including scope definition, scheduling, and resource effort estimations.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical / Electronics / VLSI Engineering.

- Prior experience in analog design or behavioral modeling is a strong plus.

- Exposure to system-level simulation and mixed-signal co-simulation environments.

- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and documentation skills.
