Site Reliability Engineer (6-10 yrs)

Position : Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Contract

Location : Trivandrum

Mode : Work From Office (WFO)

Experience : 6 to 10 Years

Start Date : Immediate

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable and highly available infrastructure and systems.

- Write scripts and automation using programming languages like Java, GoLang, Kotlin, Groovy, Shell.

- Container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts.

- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus.

- Use build tools such as Maven, Gradle, Bazel for application deployment.

- Implement monitoring and alerting using Grafana, Prometheus, AlertManager, PagerDuty, StackDriver, DataStudio.

- Use IDEs like Eclipse, IntelliJ, VS Code for development and debugging.

- Perform API and service testing with Postman, BloomRPC.

- Ensure system security using tools and standards like Fortify, OAuth 2.0, mTLS 1.2.

- Use Terraform scripts for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Follow Agile methodology using JIRA, Confluence.

- Work on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools : gcloud, gsutil, cbt cli, DataFlows, GCS, PubSub, GKE, GCR, BigTable, BigQuery.

- Understand and manage cloud networking and security principles.

Required Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

6 - 10 years total experience, with :

- 7+ years in DevOps, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, Terraform.

- Strong programming knowledge.

- Hands-on experience in managing cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP, but AWS/Azure also

considered).

Preferred :

- GCP or any Cloud Certification.

- Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and a proactive mindset.

- Must have programming experience in one of the Languages - Java/GoLang, Kotlin, Groovy,

Shell scripting

- Container tools - Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts

- CI/CD - Github, Git Actions, Jenkins, SonarQube and Nexus

- Build - Maven/Gradle/Bazel

- Monitoring & Alerting - Grafana, Prometheus, AlerManager, PagerDuty, StackDriver

Monitoring, DataStudio

- IDEs - Eclipse/IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code

- Testing - Postman, BloomRPC

- Security - Fortify, OAuth 2.0, mTLS 1.2

- IAC - Terraform scripts

- JIRA, Con?uence, Agile Methodology

- GCP, gcloud, gustily, cbt cli, DataFlows, GCS, Pubsub, GKE, GCR, BigTable,
BigQuery, knowledge in Networking

- Any Cloud Certification (GCP preferred).

What experience you need :

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

- 8+ years of software engineering experience

- 7+ years experience in Devops, AWS, and Kubernetes, Terraform , CICD pipelines

- Strong in Devops

- Experience with Cloud technology : GCP, AWS, or Azure ( Added Advantage)
